The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing he power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The local chapter is located in Hyannis and is the headquarters for local disaster response (fires, storms, floods), Preparedness and Health and Safety training, service to the armed forces, Certified Nurse Assistant State Testing and we are part of coordinating local blood drives. We also support our first responders in our area with food and beverages at the scene of a response.
