Learn to Cope (LTC) is a peer support network for families dealing with addiction and recovery. Learn to Cope holds meetings run by experienced facilitators who have been there. These meetings offer peer-support, education, resources and HOPE for families dealing with addiction and recovery. They are a safe place for members to share their experiences, ask questions, learn about addiction and listen to guest speakers who are either in long term recovery or professionals in the field. Overdose education and Narcan training is also available at every meeting.

LTC’s Martha’s Vineyard Chapter holds weekly meetings on Wednesday’s from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm in the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital Community Room. The community room is located off of the main entrance to the left of the ER. Once inside, go left and the conference room is past the hallway on your right.

LTC’s online family discussion board is a private place where people from all over the world can communicate confidentially with others who :have been there”. With over 8,000 members registered on this forum, there is a wealth of information, knowledge, and resources that can be accessed 24/7. People share their own experiences and strategies from their family’s journey through addiction and recovery which supports others and helps them to get strong.
