A non-profit organization dedicated to providing a community facility that will stimulate an interest in horses and empower individuals through connection with horses. We aim to achieve skill-building, interpersonal and social enrichment unique to the island.
The Horse Center offers unique programs bringing horses and humans together to promote emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Group-based programs foster personal development, communication and relationship-building skills through interactions with horses. Programs focus on unmounted horsemanship, Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and riding instruction.
While the main focus is youth, we serve all age groups and the long-term vision is to collaborate with other non-profit organizations on the Island in land management and conservation, health, community services and more.
