The MFCSP Program is a partnership between the Executive Office of Elder Affairs and the local Area Agencies on Aging (AAA)/Aging Service Access Points (ASAPs). Elder Services of the Cape and Islands is the AAA and ASAP for Martha’s Vineyard.

Through this partnership, support services are provided for family caregivers caring for adults over 60 or with Alzheimer’s or related dementia, or grandparents 55 years of age or older caring for grandchildren 18 or younger or for a disabled individual of any age.

Family caregivers have access to the MFCSP Program services on Martha’s Vineyard through Elder Services of the Cape and Islands including: one-on-one counseling, in-home assessments, home care services, respite, nutrition and transportation services, caregiver education and training, and referrals to financial and legal counseling.
