To empower island groups and individuals to transform racial and social injustices through grantmaking, education, and advocacy.
The Martha’s Vineyard Social Justice Leadership Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that was incorporated in October 2013.
We are a multicultural, anti-racist organization that affirms human dignity and struggles against all forms of oppression.
We believe we can be a leader and regional agent in our community by mobilizing community partnerships to assist us in collaborative planning and policy development. This will help support our efforts to assure equal treatment of all citizens living on Martha’s Vineyard.
We believe that collaborating with those who share a common vision will foster positive change over time.
We want to empower our youth to become community change agents.
