Safe Harbor delivers emergency services including advocacy, crisis Intervention, hospital accompaniment, court accompaniment, safety planning, referrals, relocation and transitional housing assistance. Safe Harbor also provides supportive services such as Meechutôh (Let’s Eat) Food Program, community outreach and education, Positive Indian Parenting Classes, support groups and healing activities. All services are intended to serve the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) community. CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY It is the policy of Safe Harbor to hold confidential all communications, observations and information made by, between or about advocacy program participants. This includes all advocacy program participants, service and administrative records resulting from telephone contacts, and any other work product related to recipients of service. Communications are confidential whether made by adults or children, and whether to or between staff, volunteers, student interns or advisory committee members of this program. The identity and communications of program participants will be held confidential to Safe Harbor. It will not share the identity or communications with any staff, committee member, or Council member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head Aquinnah, including the Human Services and Health Departments. |
