The Fuel Assistance Program assists low income individuals and families with the cost of heating their homes during the winter season. Income guidelines are found on WWW.SSCAC.ORG Levels of assistance vary by income; household size and source of heat. Payments are made to energy dealers or utilities.
A list of Martha’s Vineyard outreach sites for new applicants appears on the www.sscac.org website and prior year households receive their applications in the mail annually. Required documentation is also found on the website.
