The African American Heritage Trail researches the history of people of color on Martha’s Vineyard and celebrates that history through the creation of the Trail. There are now 30 sites all of which have been documented and a bronze marker placed in celebration. The organization also provides educational services, cultural heritage tours and advocacy.
