Seniors or those with disabilities may enroll in Verizon’s Special Protections program. When this special status is recorded in account records, Verizon will:
- make every effort to avoid blocking or turning off phone service for late payments
- enable eligibility for priority repair service
The Special Protection program application forms also offers enrollment in the Third-Party Notification program to help prevent service turnoff.
